Tis the Season to Take Care of Ourselves

Hey, lovelies, I hope you all enjoyed your Thanksgiving holiday. Thursday was an awesome slow-your-roll kind of day and then boom, Black Friday took over! So, it's official, we've hit the time of year where hustle and bustle is the name of the game. Rush here, rush there, buy this, buy that, see this side of the family, go to this party, catch this sporting event, and on and on and on! Oh yes, I do this too! Every year I think I'm going to slow down, and yet I find myself in the "on and on and on" category!

So here's a little reminder for all of us to TAKE CARE of OURSELVES!

Remember to breathe. The breath will bring you back to your center even in the midst of all the noise. It usually takes me three deep breaths to slow my brain and feel like I'm in my body again. So if you don't feel like breath one or two slowed you down, do it again! Keep going until you feel a sense of calm. The breath is vital.

Remember to take the time for yourselves.

Take the hot Epsom salt baths. Light a candle, add some essential oils, listen to a meditation or beautiful music. Water is grounding and a wonderful way to help ourselves stay balanced. Make the time to do whatever it is that helps you feel connected to yourself.
