March...One-Year Later

Lately, I've been thinking about how important it is to slow down and reflect. To take those moments of silence and look backward giving yourself the opportunity to recognize your growth. This is one way I feel we honor ourselves and anyone else in our lives that have touched us in some way. When we crash through life we sometimes miss the growth and then we skip the process of honoring, which is so important.

We are currently at the one-year mark of one of the most defining years of our lives. Who knew the month of March would end up reminding us more about the start of a worldwide pandemic instead of Spring Break? Have you stopped to look back at this year yet? Have you honored all of the changes you've made? My landscape is completely different from what it was a year ago. Some of the changes were tumultuous, tedious, and down-right messy, yet I am still thankful for them.

At this one-year mark, I'd like to take this opportunity to honor our health care workers. Last month we honored our own hearts; this month I'd like to honor the ones that put their hearts out there in the form of help. I want to honor their courage. These folks are the ones that showed up regardless of their fears or concerns. The ones that held hands, spoke with families and helped to carry people through. I have friends and some family members in the healthcare industry and as I look back on this year I am so proud of them.

If you would like the opportunity to reset, relax, and breathe deeper, please make an appointment with me. It would be my honor to facilitate a Reiki session with you.
